Small Garden Wedding at Hacienda Sac Chich 💍✨ Mihaela & Rene
This young couple proved that love is powerful, she Romanian and he Mexican, traveled from London to fall in love with the Yucatecan land and celebrate their small garden wedding here. They previously had their civil ceremony in London and wanted to have a wedding in Mexico where most of Rene’s family could attend.
After touring a few haciendas, their hearts fell in love with Hacienda Sac Chich Mexico which offered everything they were looking for on their big day. From the comforts and the perfect space to celebrate a small intimate wedding of less than 40 people.
As they chose to have a small garden wedding with only a few guests, the couple decided to use only the “Casa vieja” area for their wedding and reception.
Getting ready for a small garden wedding
The Merida wedding began with Mihaela’s makeup and hairstyle, a natural makeup that made her beautiful eyes dazzle was what her stylist and makeup artist recommended, the hairstyle was up-do with classic touches that made her look very elegant.

Once Mihaela was ready, she put on her wedding dress, a classic white dress with details on the shoulders and an empire cut with a beautiful neckline in the back, undoubtedly a choice that combined elegance and beauty. Rene, on the other hand, wore a black suit that matched perfectly with Mihaela’s look. Both were ready to celebrate the love.
The first look at a small wedding garden
When they were both ready, the First Look took place in the enchanted garden wedding of “Casa vieja”. Mihaela slowly approached Rene, who was standing with his back turned, they were talking and smiling at each other without even seeing each other. When Rene finally saw her with her wedding dress, he was amazed by Michaela’s look and both embraced and enjoyed that moment of complicity and love.
Before the ceremony, the couple had a photoshoot in many beautiful in the historic wedding venue.
The guests began to arrive and were directed to the pool’s garden, for the small garden wedding ceremony. Everyone took their seats so they could see Rene walking and standing alone in the altar while he waited for Michaela.
Small Garden Wedding Ceremony
The bride appeared through one of the imposing archways looking nervous but excited to be living this moment. With the help of her sister-in-law she made it to the center aisle where she walked alone to the altar to meet Rene.
At the altar, the two enjoyed their unique wedding ceremony filled with moments of happiness and laughter. The couple exchanged their vows and then gave each other the rings that sealed their promise of love accompanied by the “Yes, I do”. After the small garden wedding ceremony, the couple was ready to celebrate their union in the company of their loved ones.

In the garden, a cocktail party accompanied by the freshness of natural coconuts awaited the guests accompanied by mariachi music a small garden wedding ideas. With cool drinks and live music, guests were chatting and enjoying a joyful celebration with tropical look.
Small Garden Wedding Reception
At “Casa Vieja” the small garden wedding reception was waiting for them, under the beautiful arches of the hacienda, tables were set with candelabras and flowers in pastel tones.
A classic, romantic and elegant decoration that combined perfectly with the bride and groom’s look and contrasted with the tropical touch of the hacienda, creating a romantic ambiance.
Mexican flavors
Once everyone was at the reception, dinner was served, a banquet with Mexican and Yucatecan touches was served to the 40 or so guests, everyone enjoyed the selection that Mihaela and Rene had chosen.
In the garden, the dance floor and DJ were ready to receive the party, and so it was that at the end of dinner, the couple moved to the center of the dance floor and had their first dance as a married couple, a moment that surely everyone enjoyed.
The party started and everyone came to the dance floor to celebrate Mihaela and Rene’s love.
