This was no exception, the idea was clear: a wedding full of natural details, majesty, and magic. They found the perfect Hacienda in the middle of the jungle, elegant, mystic and beautiful… Every details for a legal wedding in Yucatán was thought out by the YucatanLove Wedding Planner for an open-air celebration, in a setting hidden among the gardens. The result was perfect.

Nicole had a fun moment with her friends, they went to a beautiful beach on the Península and enjoyed the sun, a ceviche, and some very fresh drinks, they definitely had fun and helped Nicole relax before the wedding.

 

 

Wedding Welcome Party at Merida

In a house located in the Santiago neighborhood downtown of this white city of Merida, Nicole & Charles organized a welcome party for their guests.

Both had chosen to offer a Yucatecan dinner along with a mix of cocktails and drinks as a thank-you hug upon arrival.

Relatives and friends of the couple gathered for what would be the preview of the wedding the next day.

 

 

Fulfilling the purpose of any “welcome party”, the guests shared moments and tasted delicious appetizers from the region.

Between hugs of congratulations and much joy, N + C enjoyed a night next to those who would be the most important people in the union of their lives.

Just like the films of yesteryear, the couple’s love story was projected on a wall of the historic building.

 

To entertain the guests, a group of street artists surprised them with a show in monocycle and fire.

At the same time, a batucada began to sound, and three dancers created a fun atmosphere. A carnival-style party made this welcome party a special night. We experienced a mix of rhythms and dances that made everyone vibrate.

After the show, a music band was in charge of harmonizing the moment.

Wedding welcome ideas

We arrived very punctually at the hacienda located 30 km from the center of Merida where the wedding would be. The majestic Hacienda has recently become a very popular venue among all couples. Nicole and Charles would use the three areas of the hacienda in their celebration: The pool for the Mayan ceremony, the House of machines for the cocktail and the Garden of the sisal house for the reception.

 

Surrounded by a beautiful style typical of the Hacienda, Nicole and Charles began the most magical day in their lives with the “Getting Ready”. So beautiful Nicole! With that white “Ivory” dress and the handmade bouquet. Charles and his suit in light grey, an orchid as a boutonniere and a hat. The perfect match!

 

And then a special moment happens: Charles waits impatiently in one of the corridors of the hacienda and Nicole appears shining; both exchange caresses and smiles. Take a good look at the photos, which was a very difficult task for me to select.

 

The Mayan priest began the celebration and asked permission from the Mayan gods to unite the couple. At the moment of the vows, emotions were running high, the sound of seashells could be heard all over the Hacienda, leaving a warm, mystical and romantic atmosphere. 

 

Some details in ceramic, tropical-style leaves and rustic wooden wedding furniture. The celebration also included a Cuban cigar rolling, music and typic Cuban songs, a unique festive atmosphere!

Welcome party ideas for wedding
