Jewish Wedding at Hacienda Sac Chich 💟 Esti & Bryan

This beautiful couple, coming all the way from Australia, wanted to go around the world to find the perfect place to celebrate their Jewish wedding. This place needed to be unimaginable, beyond their family and friends’ expectations, who travel to Yucatan Mexico to celebrate love. They found the perfect place for human relationships at Hacienda Sac Chich, where they found a multicultural space that was filled with happiness, joy, and fun.

 

Jewish wedding program begins

The traditional jewish wedding was held on a Sunday to respect the Sabbath. As soon as the first rays of the sun came out on that day, Esti started with her Getting Ready in the company of her friends, her bridesmaids settled in the Casa Sisal Hacienda Sac Chich while Bryan and his friends occupied another room of the hacienda. The girls enjoyed their time in the pool with a brunch with fruit, cold meats, and cheeses as they waited for the makeup artists to be ready. Once they did, they began to dress up, making sure to enhance their natural beauty and looks.

Esti chose to have a simple hairstyle with a dress close to the body that opened from the leg. Something simple but spectacular that made her family and friends shed a few tears. As her stylist helped her put on the veil, they were all fascinated by how well Esti looked.

 

 

Bryan also enjoyed his time in the company of his friends. Drinking and eating together as the time of their own getting ready was getting closer. Once it was time to prepare for the wedding, he decided to wear a dark green suit with a white shirt, something that matched perfectly with the location and style of the yucatan wedding.

 

 

When they both were ready, it was time for Bryan to wait for Esti and do their “first look” together. Esti walked towards him with confidence and her colorful bouquet in hand, which helped give color to her presence and balanced the white of her dress.

Once Bryan finally saw Esti for the first time, he couldn’t help but cry a little at how beautiful she looked. His eyes didn’t lie, he was completely in love with her.

The couple took their chance to have a photoshoot through the different spaces of the hacienda. All the time walking together hand in hand.

An unforgettable Jewish ceremony

The guests began to arrive to enjoy the Tish, a typical celebration in Jewish weddings that is done before the ceremony. During the Tish, the guests were able to drink and enjoy the music of the mariachi. 

As the traditional Tish was coming to an end, the mariachi began to play “Od Yishama” a traditional jewish wedding song indicating that the time of the Tish is over. At that point, the bride is situated in a chair alongside her mother and mother-in-law, while the groom in the company of his family and friends sings and dances until he reaches her.

Once he does and with the permission of the father of the bride, the groom lifts the veil that covered his loved one and kisses her to the cheers of everyone besides them. 

 

 

After the Tish ended, it was time for the ceremony to begin. Once everyone took their places, Bryan started walking toward the altar with his parents. At the sacred place, there was a Chuppah, as the tradition dictates. After him, the bridesmaids and best man walked down the aisle too. Leaving Esti and his parents last so they could have their big moment as they entered the altar together. 

Once she reached the altar, Esti gave 7 turns to Bryan as a symbol of protection and as the start of their beautiful ceremony. At the ceremony members of the family got the chance to speak to the couple, giving them their support and love. After all the formalities were done, the couple exchanged their votes and rings; and as the judge declared them husband and wife, they sealed their love with a kiss. 

One last thing was missing, the traditional Mazel tov! As the traditional cup was put on the floor, Bryan stepped on it while their family and friends screamed: “Mazel tov” symbolizing good luck and congratulations on their wedding day.  

 

 

 

It’s time to celebrate a new jewish union

At the end of the ceremony, everyone went to the cocktail bar area, which was decorated in a very Mexican style. In the place, there were drinks, a taco station, and quesadillas for the guests’ enjoyment. 

Once the cocktail hour ended, everyone moved to the reception where a rustic and Mexican atmosphere waited for them. After they took their places at the table, the couple’s entrance was announced. Esti & Bryan joined their family and friends as they ran towards them.

In the main garden, a chic mexican wedding decorations were the guests, wooden tables with flowers in red, orange, and yellow tones gave a special touch to the Talavera bases that were on the tables. Long, brightly colored candles decorated the table.

To start the party, it was time for the Jewish song of the “hora” ring. Once everyone listened to it, they joined Esti & Bryan for a dance on the dance floor for the rest of the night. 

 

At the end of the dinner, the guests danced to their heart’s content. Later Esti and Bryan invited them to the pool area, where a surprise pool party with music and snacks such as esquites, churros, and marquesitas waited for them. All the guests changed to their bathing suits while the couple took their time picking the perfect song to start the party.

Their pool party marked the end of their celebration and the beginning of their life as husband and wife.
