Experience a Special Day at Hacienda Tekik de Regil with the wedding of Gimena & Matt. This coupl from New York, arrived in Mexico to celebrate their Yucatan wedding at Hacienda Tekik in Regil and live an incredible night full of happiness and surrounded by their loved ones.

 

A special day: The beginning of a life together 

On the day of the wedding, the couple arrived with their bridesmaids and groomsmen to the a unique wedding venue, Mexico to enjoy a relaxing morning away from the noise of the city. Each took party took a room of their own and shared them with their companions.

In Gimena’s room were her sister, mom, and best friends, all of them received the same makeup and hairstyle service as Gimmena, which was very pleased by the thought of enjoying that moment with them. After everyone was ready, they helped Gimena to put on her wedding dress that consisted of a very delicate dress of empire court.

 

 

Matt for his part enjoyed the pool and some fun moments with his friends who decided travel to Yucatan from the United States to share with him such a special day. His look consisted of a gray suit with a vest and tie in very light pink. This outfit made him look elegant and handsome.

 

 

For the First Look, the couple chose the backyard of the Hacienda’s main house. Matt waited outside of his room and he could hear Gimena leaving her own and coming step by step towards him. It was a moment of both nervousness and happiness for them.

When Matt was finally able to see Gimena for the first time, he was at loss for words for how beautiful she looked but his face said it all. He was happy to be able to share such an intimate moment with her and excited to know they will spend the rest of their lives together.

After that special moment, the couple decided to take some pictures before the ceremony started.

Special wedding day: Happiness in a civil ceremony

When the guests to arrive to hacienda wedding venue they took their places in the chapel of the hacienda. Once everyone was properly sited, the courtship began to walk towards their positions. Matt, accompanied by his mother, led the way, followed by the bridesmaids and groomsmen.

After everyone entered, the chapel doors closed again only to be opened at the sight of Gimena holding her father’s hand. She was ready to walk towards Matt, and while doing so her face was full of happiness and emotion. 

 

 

The couple planning a wedding checklist for their ceremony, created by with different moments: readings, words, rings, and awhole special ritual for them. Matt’s mom was in charge of offering a reading, while Gimena’s mom offered a few words to the new couple.

The couple exchanged vows and united through a natural bond. The judge spoke and had the couple exchange ‘I do’s and rings, marking the end of the civil ceremony. Matt joyfully smashed a cup, symbolizing the prosperous start of their blessed, strengthened marriage.

 

 

At the end of it, everyone went to the main house of the hacienda for a welcome cocktail, and live music welcomed the nearly 100 guests who had traveled from different parts of Mexico and the world to share with this beautiful couple the beginning of their adventure.

 

Special details

All the guests who had traveled from different parts of the world enjoyed the atmosphere, climate, and space. The couple and guests took advantage of this moment to take pictures and talk.

In the central courtyard, they set up final reception details, surprising everyone with the flower arch welcoming guests. Vintage tables with golden details and white flowers with very pale pink touches decorated the place.

 

 

 

Enjoy your special day

Gimena and Matt waited for everyone to take their place so they could make their triumphal entrance. At dinner, family and friends shared heartfelt words, filling the couple with happiness and love.

After cutting the cake the song of the first dance began to ring. The couple hit the dance floor for their first dance as newlyweds, signaling the official start of the party.

Gimena and Matt invited everyone to dance. The guests didn’t even doubt it and join them to dance. Everyone danced and celebrated until mariachis arrived, adding a festive finale.
